Tombow's MONO Drawing Pencil (sold in the US as the MONO Professional Drawing Pencil) is the standard wood-cased graphite pencil from the MONO range the Japanese maker launched in 1963. It pairs extra-refined, high-density graphite for smooth, dark, smear-resistant lines with a hexagonal, black-lacquered hard-cedar barrel, and is offered in 14 grades from 6H to 6B. Made in Japan, it is intended for professional drawing, drafting and sketching as well as everyday writing.
