The Kimberly #525 is General Pencil Company's premium American-made graphite drawing pencil: hexagonal, with a dark-green lacquer finish and a brass end cap, built with California incense-cedar casings around a non-porous Ceylon graphite core that is "Carbo-Weld" bonded for break resistance. It is sold across the full artist range of 21 degrees, from 9H through 9B plus the extra-soft, extra-black matte 9xxB. Smooth-laying and intended for drawing, sketching and tonal work, the pencils are pre-sharpened and have no eraser.
