The DOMS Karbon is a current wood-cased graphite pencil made in India by DOMS Industries Limited (Umbergaon, Gujarat). It is a hexagonal, eraser-tipped pencil sold in a single HB grade, marked "HB/2" and branded "Super Dark," with an extra-dark (approx. 2.2mm) core in a softened-basswood barrel for smooth, easy sharpening. It is positioned as an everyday writing pencil for home, school and office use, including bold marking suited to OMR/exam answer sheets.
