The Chung Hwa 101 is the drawing-grade pencil from Shanghai's China First Pencil Co. Ltd., the artist counterpart to the brand's 6151 writing pencil, and is sold across a wide grade range from 6H through 6B (including F). It has a hexagonal barrel finished in dark green semi-gloss lacquer with a printed bamboo-leaf motif, and carries no eraser, with both ends left uncapped. Reviewers describe a reddish casing wood (noted as not cedar) that can splinter in the softer grades.
