Blackwing | Blackwing Pearl | Balanced

The Blackwing Pearl is a wood-cased graphite pencil built around the brand's "Balanced" graphite core, which is softer and darker than the firm Blackwing 602 but firmer than the soft Blackwing Matte, giving smooth dark lines with better point retention. It has a pearlescent finish (white, also offered in pink and blue), genuine California incense-cedar casing, the iconic square Blackwing ferrule, and a replaceable rectangular eraser. Made in Japan and marketed for writing and journaling, it remains a current part of Blackwing's core pencil line.
